This version is for roles where the central question is whether I can lead people, programs, partnerships, and resources through complexity. Most of my career has been in human services, but the underlying work is organizational leadership.
Humanitarian, nonprofit, and public-service leader with more than a decade of experience in large-scale migration response, organizational operations, partnerships, fundraising, data-informed decision-making, and public communication. At Casa Alitas, I progressed through program and director-level roles and became Executive Director in 2023, leading a $12 million multi-site operation serving up to 1,800 asylum seekers nightly with 62 staff and more than 600 volunteers.
Produced operational reports and dashboards for government and humanitarian decision-makers; assessed medical and social-service capacity; consulted with shelters and service providers; and managed a 10-person case-management team supporting refugee employment partnerships across Arizona.
Progressed from program coordination into director-level and executive leadership. At the executive level, directed a $12 million multi-site humanitarian reception system serving up to 1,800 people nightly. Led 62 staff and more than 600 volunteers, built regional partnerships with government agencies, nonprofits, faith organizations, funders, and community partners, developed real-time operating data systems, and served as a public spokesperson on migration and humanitarian response.
Designed and supported referral and data systems connecting border asylum-service programs with interior case-management partners, improving coordination, shared workflows, reporting, and program metrics.
Managed border-response programs and partnerships, contributed to planning and allocation within a $7 million response portfolio, and supported partner monitoring and program implementation.
