For more than a decade, my work has centered on people moving through high-stress systems and on the organizations trying to serve them well. That has taken me from frontline humanitarian work to executive leadership, national research and planning, clinical social work, board service, and the design of practical data and referral systems.
I work best where mission, operations, people, and systems meet. My experience includes large-scale humanitarian response, organizational leadership, public administration, program implementation, government and nonprofit partnerships, public health, clinical social work, research, governance, and technology-enabled coordination.
Produced operational reports and dashboards for government and humanitarian decision-makers; assessed shelter, medical, and community capacity; consulted with service providers on referral and settlement systems; and managed a 10-person case-management team supporting refugee employment partnerships in Arizona.
Progressed from program coordination and director-level roles into executive leadership. At the executive level, led a $12 million multi-site humanitarian reception system serving up to 1,800 asylum seekers nightly with 62 staff and more than 600 volunteers. The work combined staffing, logistics, partnerships, public funding, risk, data, community engagement, media communication, and rapid adaptation to changing arrival patterns and policy.
Supported multi-agency referral, data, and reporting systems connecting border asylum-service programs with interior case-management partners. Work included shared workflows, common data fields, implementation support, partner coordination, and high-volume migration-service data.
Managed border-response programs and partnerships, contributed to planning and allocation within a $7 million response portfolio, and supported monitoring, coordination, and implementation across partner organizations.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in Arizona. Current public professional listings through Psychology Today and Amanah Bloom identify me in clinical practice in Tucson. I see that work as connected to, rather than separate from, my broader career: direct practice keeps questions of trauma, access, family systems, and service design grounded in the experience of the person actually moving through the system.
Co-author of the 2021 peer-reviewed article Health Sciences Interprofessional Collaborative: A Perspective on Migration, COVID-19, and the Impact on Indigenous Communities. Additional conference and training work addresses asylum politics, local humanitarianism, trauma, migration, and public health.

My systems work grew out of operational necessity. When enterprise tools were not available, I built practical workflows using accessible technology; later work expanded into multi-agency data systems, referral interoperability, dashboards, reporting structures, and local-first AI and automation experiments. I am interested in technology when it makes work clearer, faster, or more humane—not simply because it is new.
Public records document the 2019 NASW Arizona Region Emerging Leader of the Year recognition, current board service, and Casa Alitas' 2024 Center for Victims of Torture Eclipse Award, which I accepted on behalf of the organization.
